Sustainability Statement

This show was scenic designed by Bristol Barnes, who is a Green Captain on campus for our chapter of the Broadway Green Alliance. BGA is an industry wide initiative that educates, motivates, and inspires the entire theatre community and its patrons to implement environmentally friendlier practices on Broadway and beyond. As Green Captain and Scenic Designer, Bristol’s design is made from almost entirely sustainable materials such as thrifted fabrics and discarded cardboard. She hopes that people will take away from her design that meaningful art can still be made while being conscious of our carbon footprint.
