- DIRECTOR - Bristol Barnes
Bristol is a junior studying Theatre (Performance and Scenic Design). Her directorial work has last been seen with selections of ‘Agnes of God’ in the 2022 Directors Showcase, as well as the short film ‘Weight’, produced by CofC Film Club. Check out her Director’s Statement for more information about her process directing the show.
- STAGE MANAGERS - Olivia Maness
Olivia is a freshman studying Theatre (Scenic/Lighting and Theatre Studies), making her stage managing debut at CofC with Center Stage. Back in her hometown of Memphis, Tennessee, she stage managed shows such as Our Town and Emma the Musical, and directed The Marvelous Wonderettes.
Molly Crary
Molly Crary is a senior studying Theatre (Theatre Studies) and Creative Writing. This is their third time working with Center Stage, having been stage manager for the 2021 performance of their annual ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’ shadow cast, and working as a board op for ‘Swing of the Sea’ in 2022. They were also the assistant stage manager for the College of Charleston mainstage production of ‘Antigone’ in 2020, and the dramaturg for both ‘Everybody’ in spring 2022 and ‘Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley’ in fall 2022.
- SCENIC DESIGNER -
Ellie Ford
Ellie Ford is an aspiring artist and farmer. This is their first show with Center Stage, and second production with CofC. They are also a proud coparent to 7 fur and feathered animals.
- COSTUME DESIGNERS - Mira Turkewitz
Mira is a Junior studying Costume Design and Film. This is her Center Stage design debut and has previously designed CofC’s Mainstage, ‘Cabaret the Musical’ and ‘The Hangmen’ at Pure Theatre.
Katie Burns
Katie is a freshman studying Theatre performance and Marine Biology. Previously she has been assistant costume designer for Center Stage’s, ‘The Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged, Revised’ and Co- Designed ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’ shadow cast. She will also be Costume Designer for Center Stage’s upcoming show, ‘Five Women Wearing the Same Dress’.
- LIGHTING DESIGN - Allison Jones
Allison Jones is a junior studying Theatre with a concentration in Scenic and Lighting Design. She is ecstatic to be making her lighting design debut with Center Stage! She would like to give a big thanks to Bristol and Center Stage for giving her this opportunity and wonderful experience.
- SOUND DESIGN - Joey Kirkman*
Joey Kirkman is a senior double-majoring in Theatre (Performance) and English (Creative Writing). Although they’re usually involved in theatrical work as an actor or director, they have thoroughly enjoyed working on ‘Proof’ as a first-time sound designer! They wish to thank director Bristol Barnes and the Center Stage board for allowing them this opportunity.

Hunter Harrell - Cathrine
Hunter Harrell is a senior at the College of Charleston studying Theatre and Film. This is their first Center Stage production. Last spring they made their acting debut at the college as “Texas” in the Mainstage production of ‘Cabaret’.
Madison Berry* - Claire
Madison Berry is a junior at the College of Charleston studying Theatre (performance and scenic design). This is her first time appearing in a Center Stage production, but she has previously worked on Center Stage’s, ‘The Cake’ as a scenic designer. Last spring she made her acting debut in the Mainstage production of ‘The Magic Flute’.
Mitchell McHugh - Hal
Mitchell McHugh is a freshman and has been living in Charleston for 2 years. He has performed in ‘High School Musical on Stage!’ starring as Chad. He is very excited to be a part of this show and work with this group of dedicated people! He is thankful to his family, his sister Sophie in particular, for their constant encouragement and support.
Todd McNerney - Robert
Todd has been at the College of Charleston for 28 years and yet this is his very first Center Stage production. He was last seen locally in the now defunct Shakespeare Project’s production of ‘All’s Well That Ends Well’ as Lavatch.
